In minnesota there are so many talented young artist, but most of them don't get too far because the critics goes in hard on their day job by criticizing and not being none supportive. They use every chance they can to criticize at whatever anybody is trying to accomplish. Some individauls take it far to the head and listens and others just brush it right off. For example, upcoming Hip Hop artist "CHEE" from Brooklyn Park, MN had to face the same situation, but instead of letting it bring him down. He decided to go in head first and let the critics know how he felt. This past week, CHEE dropped his well anticipated mixtape "IQuit My Day Job.", which pretty much was a slap in the face to his critics. I had some time to talk to CHEE about the mixtape.We chopped it up and he told me how he came up with the name of the mixtape. He said it was more directed to the haters that didn't believe he had a chance of going any further in his rap career. Being that it is something he love doing and want to pursue, he kept at it. Well Im not going lie, I wasn't a fan at first either, though he was a homie of mines, but because now a days everybody wanna be a rapper. It was more like.."ugh here go another one". But the homie CHEE is on his grind. He been at it for a minute now, it was only right for me to show him some love. I had time to listen to few of his tracks on the tape and I sort of picked out my favorites. One of them which was " NO MONEY I'M BROKE"ft Poncho. I always was a sucka for that fast pace tempo. His deliverance was on point. Yours may differ, but aye feel free to check it out. It's official and worth listening to.
