If you ever thought it was so sweet for me, guess what? you thought wrong buddy. Don't let the face fool you, I have an hole in my pocket the same way you do, if you turn on the T.V and they said we are in a recession, well they meant all of us, you and I. So don't think cause when I look good and what not, I have a load of money to waste. Here are some tips to help you get by in the long run..
As a kid growing up in Monrovia, Liberia, times got really tough. There were nights when I went to bed with an empty stomach, there were times when I eat like there was no tomorrow. I always worried about what I was going to eat the next day even when there was enough food with alot of mouths to feed. Now that I'm living in America a whole lot have changed. We have enough that we just waste it. When I think back to the times we didn't have it, I check myself and realize that I got it real good now. When I see pictures like the one above, I am inspired by those that are staying stronge with an empty stomach. They are my hero, because I know what it is like to be in their position.
Growing up as a child, my dream has always been to live life to the fullest when I become successful or with any potential opportunities given to me. With these potentials, I will try to live life as if there is no tomorrow, especially when it comes to accomplishing my daily goals and tasks. I have come to realize that the life we are blessed with is nothing to be taken for granted, more or less; something to cherish. As we pass this on to the next generation, I ask that we implement the right messages into our communities stating that we all have a dream and they all have the potential to become of something.As an adolescent, my dream has been to someday become a fashion designer. Through my dream as a designer, I came to conclude that I would like for my designing work to inspire everyone. I would like my work to portray the positive aspects of life. (e.g.) not settling for less, but what you aspire to deserve. Whenever I am asked about my dream, these are the things that come to mind right away. Yes indeed there are going to be break walls as I try to fulfill my dreams, but with no doubt, I will work through it and set my eyes on the prize. Jonathan McCoy is an 11-year-old kid who is against the word “n*gga” and he’s not backing down. After 1 millon plus YouTube viewings, McCoy made his way to CNN. Thanks to Don Lemon, the underage successor had an opportunity to tell the planet (on one of the biggest news networks in the world) his plan to change the way people speak and think.
According to the HuffingtonPost.com McCoy is “campaigning to have the N-word removed from the English language.” He believes that the racially sensitive term “provides great determent and takes away from the rich cultural heritage of black people” throughout the world.
If you agree with McCoy, click here to sign the petition to delete the n-word from the english language and forbid the usage of the word being used on radio, songs aired and in film. His goal is to get 100,000 online supporters.

and Russell Simmons joined forces 25 years ago to form Def Jam: A record label dedicated to hip hop. Back then the roster included LL Cool J, the Beastie Boys, EPMD, and Slick Rick. Now there’s Method Man, Jay-Z, Kanye West and many more. I just watched Krush Groove for the first time last weekend. For those who don’t know, it’s based on Russell Simmons assistingin the launch of his brother Rev’s group, Run DMC.
The ridiculous over0-the-top 80’s style, very pubescent looking Beastie Boys, and hilarious Fat Boys all gave me a good laugh.
It was crazy watching Russell’s struggle, and the next day I happened to bump into him while I was on a coffee run!
Along with the actual members of Run DMC, Fat Boys, and Blair Underwood (in his first movie), another huge star in the movie was Adidas – those vintage tracksuits and sneakers were everywhere!
The brand has naturally joined forces with Def Jam to commemorate the label and some of its individual artists, like Redman and Jeezy.
